HOW TO REMOVE AN INSECT THAT GOT INTO YOUR EAR!

DON’T DO THIS!
Do not try to use a cotton bud, cover of pen, match-stick, feather, hair clip, or any such thing. These could push the insect farther inside, or even damage the ear.

DO THIS!
Lie down flat with the ear (accommodating the insect) facing upwards.

Get clean warm water or, preferably, oil — olive oil, “anointing” oil, groundnut oil, or baby oil — and pour slowly and gently into the ear. This should kill the insect. Even if you still could not get it out, at least you have stopped the irritating, ticklish, and sometimes biting activities of the insect! Now, go see a doctor!

You could also use a syringe (without its needle, of course) to briskly inject the warm water into the ear thereby flushing the insect out! Yes!

Good luck!

NB: Hehehhehe! Use groundnut oil; not thick palm oil!
